One of my complaints is guest character well used most powerful attack to end a fight quick and you just stand there watching the same animation over and over again. All magic attack are really too powerful and ur standard does nothing.
Escape is optional, and you got a ability called awakening which mainly use to boots ur attack damaged, but if you save it up it could save ur life in the heat of battle on boss fights. You combat menu constant of attack, item, magic, and defend. Not like fire emblem but more like South Park. Gameplay is simple you run around a small map doing story missions and repetitive side missions with get boring and annoying like grey taken his shirt off. I have no clue why this game took so long to be developed. The story take about 30hrs to complete, and cover 3 story lines mostly from season 2 of the anime.
